The Regina Classic is an annual four person scramble golf tournament sponsored by the Regina Foundation.

This exciting event includes lunch, a round of golf, social hour, dinner and a fabulous silent auction. Our tournament is a fun and relaxing outing (foursome scramble) for men and women golfers at all levels of playing ability.

Mark your calendar for the next Regina Classic on Monday, September 13, 2010, at the Hastings Country Club. Proceeds from this year's event will be used to purchase Vital Signs monitors for each patient room on the Medical/Surgical floor. Click the link on our home page to view the brochure.  For more information about the Classic or to learn how you may donate a silent auction item, please contact the Foundation office at the address/phone number found at the top of this page.

Fundraising Activities - Tree of LIghts

The Tree of Lights campaign is celebrated during the Christmas season each year.
The Tree of Lights campaign is celebrated each Christmas season as a special way to remember friends and family members. A special Christmas tree decorated with brilliant colored lights is placed on the rooftop at our main entrance. The lights symbolize the memory of someone who has died or honors someone special who is living.

Funds from the Tree of Lights are used for special projects each year.

The Work of the Foundation - Automated External Defibrillators
Since 2002, the Regina Foundation has partnered with Dr. Lawrence Erickson to raise public and private funds to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for placement throughout the Hastings community.

AEDs can offer effective treatment for sudden cardiac arrest. The user simply places the AED pads on the victim's chest and lets the machine do the rest. EKG readings are taken, and if needed, a shock to the heart is administered with the push of a button.

AEDs are in place in and around Hastings to make it a 'heart safe' community.

The Work of the Foundation - Spiritual Care for Patients and Residents

The late Father James Dunne was instrumental in assuring that funds will always be available for the spiritual care of patients and residents of all faiths.

The Regina Foundation believes in the importance of focusing on the well being of the whole person, including their spiritual care. The Ecumenical Spiritual Care Endowment fund provides the resources needed to focus on spiritual care, not as an extra service, but as part of the care for patients and residents of all faiths.

The Work of the Foundation - Funding Equipment and Programs for Patients, Residents, and the Hastings Area Community
Fundraising events help to underwrite the cost of equipment and programs including orthopedic equipment, monitoring devices, end of life programs, teaching aids and many other items and services needed by those who turn to Regina for their health care needs or call Regina home.
